Before now, the windows 10 mobile lacks Multi window support for continuum, but the company made it known today at the Microsoft’s Ignite 2016 conference which was tagged “Discover what’s next for Windows 10 Mobile for phones and small tablets” it said its next update for the OS which is codenamed Redstone 2 will definitely enable the feature to Windows 10 Continuum for phone.

According the Microsoft, the company next update for Windows 10 mobile ( Redstone 2 ) will be a major update to its Continuum for phone feature, one of it which is the Multi window support for Windows 10, another major feature to look out for in the next update is the Proximity feature, which will allow you connect wirelessly to a dock without a single touch on your phone

Other interesting Redstone 2 feature that may caught your attention is the ability to independently customize your Start menu, and also being able to use the Continuuum mode while your phone is asleep, another feature am sure will interest the business minds is the being able to update your device much faster via the newly added bulk update feature

While the Redstone 2 might sound really enticing, disappointingly it wont be coming any time soon, but not that far off, this next massive windows 10 mobile update is expected to be officially launch come April 2017, however a preview version of this update is expected to start rolling out to any of the company insider before the said April.
