At last MTN launched a code that will allow its users opt out of all the Unsolicited SMS messages that pops in their phone, funny enough most of this sms are what users actually doesn’t subscribe for. But thanks to NCC for issuing an order to all Telecommunication companies in Nigeria on the need to create a code for users to opt out Unsolicited SMS.
I don’t need to remind you how painful it can be after keeping that #50 for an urgent call not until MTN decided its time to deduct their subscription for an sms you didn’t even bargain for. Well with this MTN Do Not Disturb Code, you can now easily opt out of all Unsolicited SMS.
How Can I Stop Unsolicited SMS From MTN?
Send HELP to 2442 for free and you’ll see options to opt out from any particular sms campaign ranging from educational, health, sport, banking etc..
