Infinix XOS V2.0.0 Update For Note 2 & Zero 3 Now Availabe

Infinix XOS is now available for download for both Note 2 users and of course Zero 3 users, the rom which was first experienced on the infinix hot s has finally been released to its other users, however the test rom has been online for few individuals to test and report back any bugs to the developer.

Recall we told you to get ready for the rom any time soon, well not until now, that  Infinix finally released the XOS for its users to download, flash and use, so here today we will give the various download links to each of the roms, but before we proceed.

Pls note that if you chose to update via flash method, kindly follow the proceed on how to flash roms using SP flash tools.

The XOS promises a lot of features and functionality over XUI. One of the main advantage of this over XUI is the enhanced battery performance. it is said to reduce power consumption by at least 30%. Other intresting features of rom are custom themes, smart cleanup, XPower, Freezer and more.

In situations whereby after flashing any of the roms, you got stuck at XOS logo, kindly do a hard reboot of your phone, by holding the power on button along side the volume up button for few mins, it shd reboot your phone successfully. however, it is highly recommended you use the flash method.

PLS ENSURE YOU DOWNLOAD AND FLASH THE RIGHT ROM FOR YOUR DEVICE, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT INTO BRICK / DEAD SMARTPHONE.

UPDATE ON 17TH OF AUGUST 2016 

 How to install any of the TFCard Version.

Install update using OTA package or TCard package · Download the relevant OTA package or TCard package,
· Extract it and place the ‘update.zip’ to the root of your SD Card (if already extracted, rename it as ‘update.zip’) ,
· Then, Perform Method 1 or Method 2.

– Method 1:Go To·Settings > About phone > System update > Options > Update from local > Select ‘update.zip’ and install it.

At this point you need to do nothing. The update/upgrade process will begin. Wait until installation is complete, your phone would be rebooted once complete

 – Method 2: · Turn off your Infinix Smartphone (and boot to recovery mode)
· Switch off your phone. · Press and hold volume up button + power button ·
If you see Android bot with a danger sign
· Press and hold power button again and press volume up button once · Up / Down button to select ‘Apply update from SD card’
· Scroll to where the ‘update.zip’ file is located and select with the Power Button…
