NCC Fines Innjoo N4Million For Selling Substandard Phones.

One of the Chinese smartphone maker in Nigeria, Innjoo has been fined a sum of 4 Million Naira for selling unauthorized mobile phones in Nigeria. the company which was besieged sometimes last week by The Nigerian Communication Commission ( NCC )

This however became necessary as a results of the various complaint the commission had received from some Nigerians, According to NCC, In August 2015 their enforcement action on Innjoo led to the discovery that Innjoo was selling phones that were not approved by them.

This lead to the raid of the company office in Lagos by men of the NCC, resulting to the office being sealed up for violating the NCC law put in place. The commission however noted network quality may be hindered due to the substandard and unapproved smartphones sold by the company ( Innjoo ).

Interestingly, the suspension placed on the company was however lifted as Innjoo was able to meet up with the fined almost immediately, well from our ends we do hope they company stops producing such substandard phones, as it may endangered the lives of the users!
