Today we’ll be introducing the very first Smartphone to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of box and its no other but General Mobile GM 5, not only does it just feature Android 7.0 Nougat but it also sports some nice specs

General Mobile GM 5 features a 5.0-inch HD Display with a resolution of 720pixel and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core, 64-bit processor ( Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor )  supported with 2GB of RAM as well as 16GB of solid storage  expandable up to 64gb via SD Card

Camera wise , the device boost of a 13mp rare camera and of course 5MP front facing camera, although Fingerprint scanner seems missing on the device but you might want to consider the fact that Android one project is mainly to provide a way for smartphone makers to partner with Google in order to produce  low-cost smartphones with stock google rom so you shouldn’t be expecting that much from the device

Here’s what we know about General mobile GM 5

recalled the Infinix hot 2 that was the first ever Android one device to hit Africa and of course Nigeria, the smartphone sold over 100,000 units in about 1 week of sales, that’s to tell you how much more people accepts the Android one project in Nigeria

That being said, the GM 5 packs  2,500 mAh battery capacity and supports 4G Lte, other features on this device includes  802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio

Although no official price has been stated yet for the device, however it is expected to be available for sale in about 20 country which includes: Azerbaijan, Albania, Afghanistan, Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Iraq, Kenya, Luxembourg, Moldova, Netherlands, Pakistan, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

who knows might also be available in Nigeria, but then how much do you think this would go for if eventually made available in Nigeria???
