Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg on Monday 19th 2016, took the world by surprise with a video showing how he used his artificial intelligence program, Jarvis AI, a bot Iron man fans can’t forget, and was able to control his home, appliances, lights, temperature, music, security and other gadgets with his program
In his remarks, he explained Jarvis AI, was his personal challenge for 2016, and building a program that runs just like what we have in Iron man was a project well accomplished for him, according to Mark, his goal was to learn about the state of the artificial intelligence, how they work and how best to further improve on them
“So far this year, I’ve built a simple AI that I can talk to on my phone and computer, that can control my home, including lights, temperature, appliances, music and security, that learns my tastes and patterns, that can learn new words and concepts, and that can even entertain Max.”
How Facebook Jarvis AI works
According to Mark, Jarvis uses several artificial intelligence techniques, including natural language processing, speech recognition, face recognition, and reinforcement learning, written in Python, PHP and Objective C. he however went further to explain how he was able to build the program, with few diagrams to portray his point
