Requirements to root infinix phones

• The first and most important thing you need is a PC with Mediatek Vcom Drivers properly installed

• You Note 3 or Pro must have Touch Custom Recovery installed
• Infinix X601 (Switched OFF)

How to install Custom Recovery on Infinix Note 3 and Note 3 Pro

• Download the Recovery zip from here to your PC (not mobile)
• Thereafter you need to extract the zip into a new folder ( Both the scatter and the recovery image should be in the same folder )
• Launch SP Flash Tool and load the scatter from the folder where you extracted the zip, See here
• Once the scatter files has been loaded, click on Download option on the flash tool

• Now switch off your Infinix Note 3 or pro
• Connect the switched off phone to the PC with the usb cable for the flashing process to begin
• NOTE : you should see a red progress bar, followed by a yellow one and finally a tick appears to show that the recovery has been flashed successfully

• You may now unplug the cable from your phone
• After which you need to confirm the recovery has been flashed successfully by Press Volume Up + Power key to boot into recovery

All things being equal, it should boot into recovery, if so then Congrats, You now have a working custom recovery and now you may proceed to the next stage to root your infinxi X601

How to root Infinix Note 3, Note 3 Pro withing secs

• Download Supersu zip here
• Move it to the root of your sdcard. (by root of SD card, we meant in no folder at all)
• boot your note 3 into CTR recovery

• Go to >> Install Zip >> Choose zip from Sdcard >> now locate Supersu and confirm to flash it
• Once flashed successfully, Reboot your device, The device will then boot normally and you will find SuperSU in your apps list

PS : DO NOT interfere with the device in any way when it is rebooting even if you find like it’s boot looping – This is because the boot image is patched for rooting to be successful, You may download root checker from Playstore to confirm.
