Good news, a massive deal was recently sealed last Friday between Univision  and Facebook seeing to it that all football lovers globally can now watch MLS matches live on Facebook, starting from 18th of March

You will agree with me that Facebook seems to be getting more and more interesting, following recent updates being rolled out, recalled not too long ago, the Social network giant released its Gameroom app, allowing you to play most Facebook games even without you being signed in, yes, Now football lovers will be able to watch as much as 22 live matches during the MLS regular season

Interestingly, commentaries will also be available in English, while fans across the globe will be able to interact, access more digital content and as well engage with commentators during live matches. More so, the live stream will be available for both PC and mobile users.

According to MLS official Facebook page, it made it known that about 40 Matchday Live shows of Major League matches will be produced, including highlights, match analysis and of course upcoming matches previews, In a Statement credited to the President of Univision Deportes, Juan Carlos Rodriguez on their official website, he said,

As the undisputed home of soccer in the US, Univision Deportes, together with MLS and Facebook, is committed to growing the sport across platforms and regardless of language. Further engaging the more than 18 million English-language viewers that have watched soccer on Univision coupled with the continued success of our MLS broadcasts, including our record-setting season opener, is a natural path in this new era of content consumption.”
