Customers can now use the Access Bank USSD transfer code to send money from their account to any bank in Nigeria, Today i will show you how to use your mobile phone to transfer money from your access bank account to other bank account
Gone are those days when you either have to visit the Banking hall or locate any Access bank ATM just to transfer a token to a friend, with Access’s bank new USSD transfer code, all it requires is to dial the code on your phone, then enter the amount to transfer and relax, while the other party receive the credit alert
The Money Transfer code is in two, one to send money from one access bank account to another access account, while the other is used to transfer from access bank to other banks, below are the two codes
Fund Transfer to Access Bank = *901*1*Amount*Account Number#
Fund Transfer to Other Banks = *901*2*Amount*Account Number#
HOW TO SEND MONEY WITH ACCESS BANK TRANSFER CODE ON PHONE
Simply Dial *901# on your phone NOTE: It must be from the same number registered to your Access bank account, Press 2 to Transfer Funds
To transfer to access bank account Press 1 and 2 to transfer to other banks
Enter amount to transfer
Enter recipient NUBAN account number
A prompt showing amount you want to transfer and name of the bank account you want to transfer to, will be displayed, Now check carefully to ensure you’re not sending money to a wrong account, finally Enter the last 4 digits of your BVN and Press SEND!
NOTE: To get Access bank BVN dial *565# or *565*0#

Also note, you get charged about N84 ( N80+N4.00(VAT)) when you used the Access bank transfer code to send money to other banks, however sending from Access to Access does not incure any charges, and finally, there’s a daily transfer limit of N20,000 which i believe should have been upgraded, considering other like First Bank and GTB allows up to N200,000 daily
