Lagos to relocate Computer Village To Kantangowa

The Lagos state Government has confirmed relocation of the famous ICT market in Africa – Computer Village from Ikeja to Kantangowa in Agbado Lagos, the officials made the announcement via its twitter handle

The Computer Village in Ikeja is one of the most popular market located in Africa for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) accessories, a well known location in Lagos symbolizing the state ICT strength

Aside from the sales of computer accessories, the markets also house various engineers who deals in the repair of mobile phones and computers, either software or hardware components depending on the nature of the fault.

You’d recall, the first relocation plan by the State Government was announced far back 2013, but for one reason or another, it didn’t see the light of the day

According to Lagos State Government, its reasons for relocating the popular ICT market in Africa is to pave way to solve some planning problems, which would help to control environmental degradation, housing stock deficit and of course traffic congestion along Ikeja axis
