In 2015, Amazon launched its first ever Fire tablet at a relatively cheap price, fast forward to 2017, the company has decided to give the device a face lift, but would still retain same price it sold for 2 years ago

Not only does the new Amazon Fire 7 tablet has the same price with 2015 model, it also pack similar specs, but there’s a slight difference in design

The new 2017 model sports a slimmer and lighter body, equipped with dual-band WiFi, and according to Amazon, it says the new model can last up to 8 straight hours of battery life, which is another improvement as against the 6 hrs battery life you get from the older model

Just like older version of the $50 Fire tablet, the 2017 model features an IPS 7 inch Screen to body touchscreen display, with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, which is about 171 pixels per inch

On the processor side, it comes powered by a Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor, supported by 1 GB RAM, with an option to select an 8 GB or 16 GB of internal storage model. both however can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 256 GB
