Good news to infinix users XOS 3 is the next update inline to be rolled out by Infinix mobility to some of its smartphones. We know for sure devices like Infinix NOTE 4, HOT 4, HOT 5, ZERO 4, NOTE 3 will likely get this update while older phones from the company such as Note 2 is likely not to receive the upgrade
According to Infinix official page, it announces the third major update XOS 3 is coming soon but how soon is the question yet to be answered. While we may not have the confirm release date users of the affirmation devices can get set to for an upgrade but this is also not officially made known
You’d recall that the previous XOS V2.0 came with 3 finger support, quick screenshot and screen record among other impressive features. no doubt the upcoming upgrade will also roll out with amazing tricks
How to install INFINIX XOS 3 TFCard Version.
NOTE: the update is yet to be available but this is just an instruction guide to Install the upgrade via OTA package or TCard package:
To do this download and Extract the zip file and place the ‘update.zip’ to the root of your SD Card (if already extracted, rename it as ‘update.zip’),
Then use Method 1 or Method 2.
– Method 1:Go To·Settings > About phone > System update > Options > Update from local > Select ‘update.zip’ and install it.
At this point, you need to do nothing. The update/upgrade process will begin. Wait until installation is complete, your phone would be rebooted once complete
– Method 2: · Turn off your Infinix Smartphone (and boot to recovery mode)
· Switch off your phone. · Press and hold volume up button + power button ·
If you see Android bot with a danger sign
· Press and hold power button again and press volume up button once · Up / Down button to select ‘Apply update from SD card’
· Scroll to where the ‘update.zip’ file is located and select with the Power Button…
The update/upgrade process will begin. Wait until installation is complete, your phone would be rebooted once complete
